A glorious thing happened yesterday. It truly made my little heart happy. I believe it made my husband's heart even happier.
Our upstairs neighbors moved.
I'm not even joking.
We fell asleep, in our own bed, for the first time in nearly 11 months, without upstairs noise. It was absolutely divine.
Apparently, we weren't the only ones complaining and being generally annoyed with our upstairs neighbors. Seems that the woman who lived across from them also found them terribly obnoxious. So she's been complaining. And so have we. And the office people decided to do something about it. And moved them to another apartment in the complex. On the lower level. With a bunch of college kids who live above them.
Seriously. I thought this day would never come. Our last month in our apartment will be filled with much joy and happiness.

If I had known what it would take to get 36 comments on one blog posting, man, I would've done something much sooner! I never realized that a wooden barn-like structure would cause so many opinions. I do realize that most of the comments are between my sweet brother and my sweet husband, but still, 36 comments? That's dang impressive.
In case you haven't been keeping up (cuz I know you all are dying to see which spouse is winning!) you should read the comments. They make me laugh. But mostly because it's my brother and my husband, both of whom I find to be quite amusing people.
And so, because of that, I can't call a winner. I mean, of course, naturally, I'm the winner, but dang, there were an awful lot of people who called those things "sheds". Shoot, man. It also appears that all Spiehlers call them a "mini-barn". So, a tie then?
How lame is that. A tie. But, I just can't do it. I can't.
However, I shall be thinking of another semi-silly controversial question to ask that will illicit even more comments this time around.

"A skeleton of a glossary."
That is hilarious! I laughed out loud reading through those.
And I had no other topic ideas because Joe and I always agree on everything. Everything. I have absolutely no idea what's it's like to disagree on mundane details like whether big utensils belong in a drawer or on the counter. Or the proper way to wash a pan. Or where remotes should go. Nope, no idea.
And yay for the neighbors leaving! You need to throw a party!
Yay! Yay! Yay! And many more yays!!!!
So happy you'll have some peace and quiet.
Hooray for the neighbors leaving! I hope you are enjoying the peace and quiet!
It's a shed. SHED!
YAAAY!
